friday flash 55: story continues

All the way to the airport Adam was torn. "Can I live with myself"' he wondered? "This is so wrong. But, I can't go back. They certainly won't harm her. Adam rushed to the counter to check in his luggage. Suddenly somethng made him turn his head.
It was Eve. Eve is going to Hawaii.

Previous the 1st story is -- (A quick synopsis)
a man running down the street , sweat covering his brow, he ran into a building, feeling his heart beating , he went to a corridor where there were less people and calmed down. he felt the envelope in his pocket and he could feel that the money was still there

2nd installme
nt
the phone rang and she felt fearful.
he apologized for calling so late.
she waited to hear the news. He quietly said "I have the money".
Choking up, she said, "Thank God".
"it's ok, I am coming home."he said
"no matter what, I am here for you", she replied.
And he said, "I know".

3rd post
He arrived home later than he expected.
The house is dark.
Where could she be? she knew I was coming.
She said she'd be there no matter what.
The door was open a crack. she'd never leave the door open.
Something is wrong.
He listened for sounds but only heard the deafening sound of silence.

4th post
As Adam entered, he flicked the familiar light switch to on.
He dropped his keys on the table and cautiously entered further in to the house.
His gut told him what happened as did the note hanging on the bedroom door.
The note read, "return the money if you ever want to see her again."

5th post
Adam knew what he should do. The problem is he also knew what he really wanted to do.
Life is so hard. 'Why can I Never catch a break', Adam wondered? I have 800,000 dollars in my pocket. I could go anywhere. I could do anything.
Adam picked up the phone and dialed the number.

Adam listened to the ringing...thinking maybe he should change his mind.
The voice on the other line answered "United Airlines, can I help you?"
Still questioning his choice, he nearly hung up the phone.
"Can you tell me when the next flight to Stockholm is? I need a one way ticket for Adam Smith."

A Bunch Of Stupid Questions By Kimber

Kimber, the number 14 and the color of life. (2 questions by Ber, figure out which 2.)

1. You are in an enclosed space with a group of friends. Elevator, auto, small room, etc.. You fart and it really stinks. Do you take credit for it or do you play along with the questioning of who did it?
Well if that happened and that would be a BIG IF....I definitely would not admit to it....gawd

2. You are locked in a room sitting at a desk with just a piece of paper and a purple crayon. What do you draw?
A Grape Or a bunch...maybe a bunch of bunches...you know I am claustrophobic...right?

3. Do you ever pee in the shower?
Please...isn't this a little personal? LOL I try to never pee anywhere but in the pot. But then I would never admit to that either!

4. Have you bought, sold or got rid of something on Craigslist?
no ...the only kind of people that I know of that are on craigs list is... prostitutes and pedophiles
I don't fall into either category!

5. You are in a convenience store. In the line in front of you is a drunk guy trying to purchase more alcohol. The cashier tells him they cannot sell it to him because he is obviously already intoxicated. He gets belligerent. The cashier is scared. What do you do?
I call 911

6. While shopping for produce, do you "sample" before you buy (i.e. grapes)?
Absolutely not...they haven't been washed yet!

7. You are walking down the street and there is a toddler sitting on a bench by themselves in front of a store - do you just keep walking?
No..I find out where is heathen parent is....

8. Have you looked up an old friend and/or lover online?
NO BUT one looked me up a few months ago! I wouldn't skype with him...(he wanted to hear my voice) and I kind of ignored him a lot and he got fed up and went away.

9. You are nearly in a car/auto accident. Do you freak out, follow the person who nearly caused it & talk to them or just keep going?
I keep going..and freak out!..cussing the a$$ out even though he/she can't hear me .

1. Your mate or spouse or the person you have known on a personal level for quite a while, comes to you and suggests that things need to be spiced up and suggests a threesome. what is your reaction?

Well.. first of all...my other half would know better than to ever even consider asking me....LOL But if he was that stupid....it wouldn't be pretty. :-)

2. you are doing the shopping at the grocery store and there is one bad habit you wish your mate would give up and it's on your list to buy. Do you conveniently forget the item or go ahead and feed their habit?

My other half used to chew....he knew how much I hated it...so he'd never have asked me in the first place. BUT if he had of...I would have conveniently forgotten the item...whoops...oh shoot..I forgot...

3. Your spouse/mate/date is driving and you are feeling seriously scared about the speed the they are traveling. You have already complained twice about their driving skills. Do you demand they slow down? or bite your lip? Will they call you a backseat driver and will an argument more than likely breakout?

Unfortunately this little scenario has happened a few times...yes he'd say I was a backseat driver and yes we'd have a little tiff over it and then I'd zip it!

4. Your neighbors put their dogs out at 630 AM everyday and they bark non stop and wake you up. How do you handle the problem?

we are living this! LOL
Right now I am ignoring it! But I have gotten up turned on the lights looked out the window and hoped that when they come out to bring their dogs back in, they could see that I am up. If I had their phone number..I'd probably call them...

5. Tell us about something that you can do that more than likely not a lot of other people can do.

well I can stick my tongue out and curl it up and touch my nose. I don't think this will come in handy for anything...but hey..

6. Do you still have any of your childhood toys that might be worth some money?

NONE..it's sad really...I made a move and left some things at my moms and when I returned..all my things had been adopted by my sisters kids.

7. what is/was your all time favorite Beatles Song??

I think I really had a thing for "Do you want to know a secret"

8. If you felt motivated to really tighten up the house hold budget, what item would you need to give up to save money?

I'd have to give up my coke and pepsi! I drink a lot!

The "Leave It to Meme" Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing. Sunday Stealing originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme. Let's go!

Today we ripped this meme off a blogger known as Kyddryn from Shadow and Sweetwater. She claims she stole it from someone on Facebook. But, it was probably stolen there as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Cheers to all us thieves!
